Bible Studies

Sunday morning Bible study (beginning September 14th): A Bible study on the book of Job is led by Pastor Jared following the worship service and fellowship time.

Tuesday morning Bible Study (beginning September 9th): This Bible Study meets at 10:00 a.m. in the East Room. The Tuesday Morning Bible Study will be starting The Engagement Project video series by Dr. Del Tackett (creator of the Truth Project). Per Dr. Tackett, “It is all about relationships. All the diverse pieces and parts of the entire universe are found and bound up in some form of relationship. That is why Jesus emphasized the Unity of the Body of Christ. He wants us to be bound together. As the world and Satan, not to mention the negative use of technology, continue to try to isolate us, and even as we may be “connected” through social media and smart phones, we are still increasingly lonely.”

The Engagement Project is a 10-week course that will take us on a marvelous quest of seeking the face of God and His nature in the hope of deeply transforming the Body of Christ. It will lead us to understand where we are in God’s Meta-Narrative, the incredible vision He has granted us as His representatives on earth. It will show us that He has entrusted the primary work of the Kingdom to the common, everyday Christian. It will change each of our lives, radically transform our families, and, by God’s grace, turn the world around us right side up. All are welcome to attend!

Thursday Evening Bible Study with The LIFE Group (beginning September 11th): The LIFE Group, led by Sharonlee Strohkirch and Kathy Anderson, will be studying the book of Genesis Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. Living In Faith Everyday (LIFE) is a small group ministry whose purpose is to connect people to one another, so that group members become more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
